Athletes will have the option of finding their own housing or staying in our team home. Athletes who choose to stay in our team home will be required to follow all house rules and the house cleaning schedule.
Our team home is a climate-controlled home, where rooms have bunk bed and single bed sleeping arrangements. The home is cable and wifi ready for athletes. The home has a furnished common living room area as well as a fully equipped kitchen.
A meal plan is included and food will be provided daily. Staff will cook the dinner meal Monday through Friday. Some meals will be professionally catered while other meals will be prepared by the student athletes as part of the program. We use this to help mature each athlete and help better prepare them for future independent college living. Food will be present in the team home at all times for athletes to have access to prepare.
All student athletes who reside in the team house will be required to attend weekly bible study and biblical teaching. This will be taught by Team Chaplin Pastor Jason Channels and other guest speakers.
We are a Christian principled program. We in no way will force our views on any student athlete. We just ask that each student athlete is respectful during teaching.
As a program we want to be visible in our community. We believe that there is no bigger calling than being of service to others. Our staff wants to set a foundation of being a servant to others within our student athletes that will last past their time at Southwest Ohio Prep Academy. All student athletes must participate in all service projects without exception.
